LEWISHAM group The Andy Smythe Band will be launching their debut album Nation of the Free in central London's 12 Bar Club next month.

Lead band member Andy Smythe's strident, evocative and finely crafted songs have been quietly stealing the hearts and minds of audiences for the past five years.

At venues like London’s Borderline, and at festivals throughout the USA and UK, his sharply observed and engaging performances have enchanted audiences.

Support acts at the launch gig include Monica Heldal from Denmark and classy Londoner Dan Razza.
